How resilient is our electricity system when the unexpected happens?

As electrification increases and power systems become more complex, ensuring grid stability and preparing for major disruptions are becoming key challenges for the energy sector. A blackout may be rare, but its impact can be significant. This seminar will look at what happens when the system fails, how the grid can be restored, and which solutions are needed to strengthen resilience.

Join KBVE-SRBE for an afternoon of expert insights and discussion on the following:

  • What causes blackouts, and what can we learn from past events?
  • How do we restore the electricity system through black start procedures?
  • How are operators, industry, and technology providers preparing for future challenges?
  • Which technologies will support a more resilient energy system?

The seminar brings together experts from transmission and distribution system operators, energy companies, industry, policymakers, and technology providers to exchange knowledge and discuss the future of electricity system resilience.
